Sonaer’s precision spray atomizer nozzles focus micron and sub-micron droplets onto small parts from various viscosity solutions with very little overspray. Nozzles come in two styles, flat and wide spray tip. Nozzles are ideal for focusing droplets with our Pin Point Spray Shapers and for extra low solution deliveries. Controlled coatings are obtained from these nozzles making it easy to adapt to many applications requiring thin uniform films. The nozzles are lightweight making them attractive with robotic coating systems. Nozzles are available in lightweight black aluminum (special order) or stainless steel case with stainless steel inner feed tube. Micro feed tubes are available for delivering micro liter volumes, available in stainless steel and PTFE fluoropolymer. Nozzles can be configured with spray shapers for pin point sprays and wide sprays giving the user more control over the coating application.

                                                                    Wide Spray Atomizer Nozzles
 
 

Sonaer makes a line of wide spray atomizer nozzles for dispersing droplets over a wider area than what a narrow nozzle can provide, it does this with the angle portion of the tip. As liquid rides up the tip, droplets are pulverized on an angle and pushed away from the nozzle. Altough the nozzle can operate at low flows, liquids might become unstable coming off the tip, in these cases a narrow spray nozzle should be used. These nozzles are best suited for spraying holes or areas that need full coverage. For increasing the area covered these nozzle, our Dove Tail spray attachment can be used.

                                                             Wide Spray Atomizer Nozzle With Extension
 
 
 

Sonaer makes a line of atomizer nozzles with an extension attached to the end. These nozzles come in both 40kHz and 60kHz frequencies and are good for depositing droplets within bores. For spraying programmed amounts, these nozzles spray forward and along the inside of counter bores and threads. Tip is removable and can be replaced when solution erodes the tip.

                                                           High Temperature Atomizer Nozzles
 
 

Sonaer has a line of atomizer nozzles that will operate at elevated temperatures, typically 1000 deg F. Nozzles come in a wide spray 30kHz and a narrow spray 40kHz frequency. Altough the nozzle was designed to operate at higher temperatures, they also can be used at ambient conditions. Along the shaft of the nozzle is a mounting point for a decoupling nut that adapts to vessels, pipes, tubes and other enclosures including our high temperature spray shapers. We also have designed a 40kHz nozzle with a longer extension for applications that require deeper penetration of spray droplets.

                                                                    Radial Spray Atomizer Nozzle
 
 
 
With the radial atomizer nozzle sprays come from the side of the nozzle tip. The nozzle has a small inner tube within the probe tip which leads out to small diameter holes along the side. Liquids exiting the small holes are sprayed towards the outside. This nozzle is useful for sprays that have to deposit along the inside wall of a tube and cannot fall to the bottom.

                                                 High Temperature Atomizer Nozzle with Spray Shapers
 
 
 

Sonaer’s high temperature 40kHz atomizer nozzle with spray shapers. Nozzles are titanium alloy and 316 stainless steel construction for spraying temperatures up to 600C degrees. Nozzles come with either a pin point spray shaping attachment or our wide vortex spray shaping attachment. The pin point spray shaper can spray down to 250 micron diameters and our wide vortex spray shaper can spray droplets as wide as 100 degree angles.                                          Fluoropolymer Atomizer Nozzle for Corrosive Environments
 
 
 

Sonaer’s fluoropolymer (PEEK and PTFE) Sono Alloy atomizer nozzle (Inconel 725) for corrosive environments uses the latest advances in metallurgy for applications with aggressive solutions. Hydrofluoric acid, hydrogen peroxide, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and other aggressive chemicals can be sprayed through this atomizer without any coatings to protect the nozzle.

                                                         Hypodermic Needle Delivery of Solutions
 
 
 

Sonaer’s hypodermic delivery attachment for atomizer nozzles allows for solutions to be dispersed on the nozzle tip and focusing droplets through the center orifice with a small gas flow. Can be used for controlled deposits of liquids for coating medical devices and small objects. Attachment fits the NS series 40, 60 and 130kHz nozzles.
